第二课时　Section A (2a－2d) 教学目标 知识目标：Important words：educational，plan，hope，discussion，happen，may，expect Important phrases：find out，hope to do sth.，plan to do sth.，expect to do sth.，have a discussion about Important sentences：1.Sally thinks game shows are more educational than sitcoms. 2．Because I hope to find out what's going on around the world. 3．We had a discussion about TV shows. 4．But you can expect to learn a lot from them. 能力目标：能正确运用目标语言谈论自己对事物的喜好并陈述原因。 情感目标：培养自己的爱好，处理好爱好与学习之间的关系。 教学重难点 重点：学会运用“What do you think of…？”这一句型来谈论喜欢和不喜欢的事物。 难点：掌握动词不定式的用法。 Step 1　情景导入 【参考案例】 T：Hello，everyone.We can watch all kinds of TV shows such as news，sports shows，talk shows，game shows and so on.What shows do you like to watch？Why do you like to watch it or them？What do you think of it or them？In this lesson we will learn about them. 设计意图：通过课前的一个师生问答互动环节引入新课话题。 Step 2　完成教材2a－2c的任务 【操作案例】 1．要求学生翻开课本P34。播放第一遍录音，完成2a的听力任务。 2．要求学生听第二遍录音，把2b的句子补充完整，然后请几个学生给出答案，有问题的答案讨论更正。 3．听第三遍录音，大声跟读听力材料。然后模仿听力内容，完成2c的对话。请两组学生表演。 设计意图：将听、说、读、写的任务结合起来锻炼了学生对语言的综合运用能力，也巩固了学生对目标语言的学习、识记和运用。 Step 3　完成教材2d的任务 【操作案例】 1．让学生听2d部分的录音，然后让学生跟读录音。 2．让学生模仿录音在小组内练习。 3．然后邀请几组同学上台表演。根据情况的不同给每个小组适当的奖励。 4．让学生根据自己的情况在小组内编新对话，然后让几个小组上台表演，选出最佳小组。 5.小结训练。 根据句意，用所给词的适当形式填空。 (1)We __had__(have) a discussion about the movie last night. (2)My mother can't __stand__(stand) game shows. (3)I like to follow the story and see what __happens__(happen) next. (4)I think soap operas are __boring__(bored). (5)We can expect __to__hear__(hear) a good song. 知识点拨 ▲stand (1)作不及物动词时，意为“站立”，构成stand up，反义词组为sit down。 (2)作及物动词时，意为“忍受；忍耐”，一般多用于否定句中，构成短语can't stand (doing) sth.意为“不能忍受(做)某事”。 如：I can't stand soap operas.我无法忍受肥皂剧。 ▲动词不定式作宾语的用法 在英语句子中，want，plan，expect，hope，choose等动词后接动词时，我们要用动词不定式作宾语。 ▲happen (1)表示“某地发生了什么事”，常用“sth.happen in/at sp.”这一结构来表达。 (2)表示“某人出了什么事(常指不好的事)”，要用“sth.happen to sb.”这一结构来表达。 (3)表示“某人碰巧做某事”，要用“sb.happen to do sth.”这一结构来表达。 Step 4　随堂练习 根据句意及汉语提示完成句子。 1．My father often reads the newspaper to learn more
