Module 5 Unit 1 Can you be my Chinese pen friend?
一、教学目标
1. 语言知识
(1) 能听懂、会说、并认读下列词汇 pen friend, address
(2) 能听懂、会说、认读句型Can you speak English? Can you be my Chinese pen friend?及其回答。
2. 学习能力
能够用“I can...”造句。
3. 思维能力
讲述自己的能力,通过介绍自己的情况结识笔友或网友。
4. 文化品格
培养学生在活动中体会英语学习的乐趣,培养学生学习、生活的自信心,培养学生热爱生活、对异国文化的了解、兴趣。
2、 教学重点
能听说读写新单词和掌握 Can you be my Chinese pen friend ? I can speak English.等新句型。
3、 教学难点
能运用重点语言Can you speak English? Can you be my Chinese pen friend?在实际的语言环境中灵活运用。

单词卡、多媒体课件。
五、教学过程
Step1.Warming up

Look and say. You can use “I can …” or “I can’t …”.
【设计意图】通过Free talk学生的学习积极性,拉近师生间的距离。让学生快速地进入学习状态。使教学环节自然过渡到下一环节。
3.Look and say
T:What’s this?What can he do?Can he speak English?
Now please listen to the tape of Activity 1 on Page 26,then answer the questions.
Let the students look at the book, listen to the tape and find the answer: No,he can’t.
Let the students listen to the tape again and follow the tape.
【设计意图】通过这三个问题的设置,可以起到承上启下的作用。自然过渡到本节课重点部分,即下面的新授环节。
