Lesson 1: Focus On Language—语法·提升语言能力 课时目标 1.掌握过去完成时的用法，并在语境中会灵活运用。 2.区分一般过去时和过去完成时以及现在完成时和过去完成时，并掌握与它们连用的一些时间状语。 语法项目—— Past Perfect 初识语法——在美文运用中体悟 By the time the Rolling Stones ①called themselves the world's greatest Roc and Roll band, they ②had already become stars.The band first ③performed together in 1962 in a London club.Before 1964 they ④had not written their own songs but they ⑤had sung songs by people such as Chuc Berry.After 1964, Mike Jagger and Keith Richard ⑥started writing their own songs.They ⑦had their first No.1 hit in 1964 with It's All Over Now.They ⑧went to the United States for the first time in 1964 and by the end of the tour they ⑨had achieved huge popularity.Forty years later they are still touring the world and attracting huge audiences. ①③⑥⑦⑧都是一般过去时，其中③⑥⑦⑧分别和表示过去的时间状语in 1962, after 1964, in 1964连用； ②④⑤⑨都是过去完成时，其中②的时间状语是by the time引导的时间状语从句；④⑤的时间状语是before 1964；⑨的时间状语是by the end of the tour。 慧学语法——运用“形式—意义—使用”三维动态语法观　 过去完成时的本质用法只有五个字，那就是“过去的过去”——即过去完成时表示的是在“过去的过去”就已发生的情况或存在的状态。如何理解“过去的过去”呢？首先我们得确定一个过去时间作为参照点，在这个过去时间参照点之前的时间就是过去的过去。过去完成时由“助动词 had＋过去分词”构成，其中had通用于各种人称。句式主要构成：肯定句：主语＋had＋done；否定句：主语＋had＋not＋done；疑问句：Had＋主语＋done；被动式：主语＋had＋been＋done。 一、过去完成时的主要用法 [先感知] ①(教材典句)I knew I had chosen a job with a lot of stress but I love what I do. ②(教材典句)Before Mr Jenkins taught me, science had simply been a subject full of strange words to me. ③She said that she had seen the film before. ④She wished she had stayed at home. ⑤I had planned to go to Beijing but due to the bad weather I didn't. [会发现] ①③句是从句的动作先于主句的动作时，从句要用过去完成时；②句是与before引导的从句连用时，主句要用过去完成时；④句是对过去的情况进行假设时，从句要用过去完成时；⑤句表示过去本来打算做某事，但没有做成时，句子要用过去完成时。 [明规则] 1．过去完成时的用法： (1)过去完成时表示一个动作或状态在过去某一时间或动作之前已经完成或结束，即发生在“过去的过去”。 (2)过去完成时还可以表示一个动作或状态在过去某时刻之前已经开始，一直延续到这一过去时刻，而且到那时还未结束，仍有继续下去的可能。 (3)表示过去未曾实现的想法。过去完成时除表示“过去的过去”外，还可表示过去未曾实现的想法和打算，通常适用的动词有want, think, hope, plan, mean, expect, intend, suppose等。 2．过去完成时需要与一个表示过去的时间状语连用，它不能离开过去的时间而独立存在。此时多与already, yet, still, just, before, never等时间副词
