Exercise 5
Purpose: to help students label a picture based on a listening
· Direct students to the photo of the elephant. Ask“Can you remember all the parts of the elephant's body?”Hold up the book and point to the parts and elicit the names. If you feel your students are ready, you may skip this step.
· Direct students to the table in Exercise 4. Say“Look at the details in Exercise 4. Which part of the elephant did each officer touch? Write numbers”. Monitor, offering help as needed. If students need support, have them work in pairs.
· Go over the answers, having individual students read them aloud.

Exercise 6
Purpose: to help students discuss the lesson learned from a story
· Ask some questions about the play to get students thinking about the lesson the king wanted the officers to learn, for example,“Did the officers get along? Do you think this was a problem for the king? What did the king do as a reaction to this? Why do you think the officers all had different answers when asked to say what the object was?”If you feel your students are ready, you may skip this step.
· Say“What lesson did the king want the officers to learn?”Have students get into small groups to discuss. Monitor, offering help as needed.
· Go over the answer, having individual students share their thoughts.
