Unit 9 My favorite subject is science. （Section B 2a-2c）

教学目标：

2. 能力目标：

    能读懂描述课程安排及课程喜好的短文，能简单介绍自己某天的课程表和课程感受。

3. 情感目标：

   能理解各学科重要性，培养学科兴趣，开阔视野

教学过程：

Step1:Greeting and let’s chant

Teacher show the students how to chant. Then chant together.(chant的目的在调动学生情绪的同时，复习有关日期和学科的单词。利用最后一句 Friday, Friday, my favorite day.引出下一个环节）

2. T:My favorite day is Friday. Do you like Friday?

Why do you like it? One student answer.

Then teacher ask “Are you busy or free on Friday?”.

Students answer and write down “busy.

Friday”(  本活动让学生表达自己周五的情况，之后引出 YuMei,询问她的周五是什么样的，将学生引进阅读的内容。）

Step 2:  Before reading

1. What subjects do you have?
2. What do you think of them?

Step 3:  While reading

1. What subjects does she like and dislike?
2. What  does she think of these subjects?
3. When does she have these lessons?
4. Answer the question:

(1)  What's the structure(结构) of the letter?

(2)  In what logic (逻辑）does she write such a letter?

(3)  How does the writer show this logic?

Step 4:  After reading

1. Can you introduce Yu Mei's class schedule ?
2. Which report card may be hers, and why?
3. If you were her classmate, math teacher, or parents, what would you say to her? Choose one role to help her.
4. Which report card may be hers, and why?
5. Work in a group and design(设计) your class schedule for one weekday.

Step 5：Homework

1.Write a composition (作文) about 70 words to introduce your ideal class schedule.

2.Think about what  your strong and weak subjects are, why you get such grades, and make plans to get better.
