a member of = be in

- He comes from Guangdong ,but now lives in Beijing.
他来自广东，但是现在住在北京。
注意三单 lives ,comes
- He looks strong and plays football very well.
他看起来很强壮并且足球踢得很好。
look此处作为系动词，“看起来”，后面直接加形容词。
区分 look at him happily
- In his free time ,he studies English.
在他空闲时间，他学习英语。
free，是形容词，意思是“空闲的，免费的，自由的”
study----studies（三单）

他也喜欢听音乐。
also，“也”，放在句中。Listen to music，“听音乐”

它使他很高兴。
make sb + do/adj ,使某人....
- Li hua wants to play in the next World Cup.
李华想要参加下一届世界杯。
want to do “想要做某事”=would like to do sth
- I hope his dream comes true.
我希望他的梦想实现。
hope 的用法 ：+ to do/ 句子 ，注意hope sb to do 是错的。
- How old is he ?
他几岁？
- How does he look ?
What does he look like ?
上面俩句多问“长相”，回答：He is tall/slim.
What is he like ?
可用于长相或者性格，多用于性格，回答如：He is kind.
- Does he come from Beijing?
他来自北京吗？
come from = be from 所以此句等于“Is he from Beijing ?”
