一、语篇研读

What：Danny在日记中讲述了见到自己偶像的激动心情和从Jack的采访中获取Jack梦想成真的经历。

Why：本课是一篇丹尼的日记，采用了日记的格式。

How：本课和第55课相呼应，丹尼有自己的理想，但是并不擅长相关学科，这里他决心为了自己的理想而努力，所以选择未来的职业可以出于自己的擅长，也可以出于热爱，然后再为此努力都有实现的希望与可能，引导学意识到目前学习对自己未来的影响，树立了为理想而努力学习的观念。

二、教学目标

通过本课的学习，学生能够：

Language Knowledge：

Words ： Ss will be able to use the words: mall, agency, definitely, faint, hold out, Canadian Space Agency, keep one’s eyes on

Topic Listening :

Students can understand others’ ideas in English.

Students will know how to manage their time well

Language  Skills:

Speaking: Students will be able to talk about the future in English.

Reading: Students can understand Danny’s diary quickly and well.

Writing: Students can describe their future work in simple language.

Step1: Warm up and lead in

T：Have you ever met any famous people? Who?

T：What do you think of being an astronaut？

T：What do you need if you want to be an astronaut?

Ss: A brave spirit/A cool mind/A strong body/Profound

knowledge.

Great skill and so on.

Step2: Presentation

Present the new words:

mall           n.商场

faint           v.昏倒

agency         n.机关; 代理机构

definitely       adv.肯定

Practice:
