【学前预知】

简单归纳疑问词的用法

   what 询问物,也可以询问职业;where 询问地点;who 询问人;how 询问怎么样;how old询问年龄;what color 询问颜色;whose 询问所属关系。如：

1. This is a book.   →What's this?

2. Her cousin is a nurse. →What does her cousin do?

3. Li Ming works on a farm. →Where does Li Ming work?

4. She is my mother. →Who is she?

5. He is fine. →How is he?

6. Jim Green is 49 years old. →How old is Jim Green?

【新知详解】

   1. She teaches in a high school.她在中学教书。

    (1) teach 动词,意为“教;教授”。其动词第三人称单数为 teaches,名词为 teacher。

   常用的短语有:teach sb. sth.教某人某事,还有 teach sb. to do sth.教某人做某事。如:

   His father teaches him to speak English.他的爸爸教他说英语。

She teaches us English.她教我们英语。

    (2) in a high school 意为“在中学”,也可以表示“在高中”。另外，在中学也可以用in a middle school 表示。

   2. My grandparents live with us.我的祖父母和我们住在一起。

   live with 意为“和……同住”,其中 with是介词，意为“和……在一起”

live in 意为“居住在(某地点)”,后一般接表地点的词。如

I live with my parents.我与父母住在一起

   My uncle lives in Hongkong.我的叔叔住在香港。

   3. She likes to play with Kitty. 她喜欢和基蒂玩耍。

   like to do sth.意为“喜欢做某事”。play with sb./sth.意为“和某人玩/玩某物”。如:

Don't play with the fire.不要玩火
