While reading

1.Read P45 2b carefully , and find out the main purpose of each paragraph.

2.Read P45 2b carefully again  and match each paragraph with its main purpose in the box.

3. 2c  Read again and write the letters in the correct places in the passage.

4. 2d  Answer the questions with short sentences.

5.Read P45 2b carefully again, find the phrases in 2e. Then write your own sentences with them. 

After reading :研习下列知识点：

be able to 意思为“能”。后接动词原形，可用于多种时态，也可与情态动词连用。如：I was able to speak English when I was two years old.

A: promise to do许诺做某事My father promised to buy a new bike for me.
