1.poster  /ˈpəʊstə/  n. 海报

短语：poster design 海报设计

E.g. Brighten up your bedroom with a few posters.
挂几张印刷画让你的寝室亮丽生色。

变形：post v. 邮寄  post office

2. dormitory /ˈdɔːmɪtərɪ/   n. 寝室

短语：dormitory building 宿舍大楼

E.g. Children sleep in dormitories when they live at

school. 孩子们住在学校时，在宿舍睡觉

3. nursing /ˈnɜːsɪŋ/   n. 护理技巧

词组：nursing care 护理  nursing staff 护理人员

E.g. She takes up nursing as a career. 她以看护为职业。

变形：nurse  n. 护士

4. workshop / wɜːkʃɒp/  n. 车间；工场

词组：workshop building 厂房  workshop manager 车间主任

E.g.The fire accident in the workshop has put back production.车间里的火灾事故妨碍了生产。

拓展：构词法：compound（合成词法）：合成法是把两个或两个以上的词按照一定的次序排列构成新词的方法。

以workshop 为例子，是由work 和 shop混合在一起构成。

词组：easy to operate 易操作的

operate on 对…动手术；对…起作用

字母e-可以表示在互联网上的或者电子的

例如：e-mail 表示电子邮件

7. patient /ˈpeɪʃənt/   adj. 忍耐的, 有耐心的n. 患者, 病人

词组：patient with 对……有耐心  patient safety 病人安全

E.g. The patient's condition is being reviewed and evaluated. 该患者的病情正在进行检查与评估

8. cookery /ˈkʊkəri/   n. 烹饪法；烹饪术

词组：cookery book 

E.g. He took lessons in Thai cookery.他上了泰式烹饪的课程。

9.practical  /ˈpræktɪkəl/ adj.  实践的；实际的

词组：practical experience 实务经验，实践经验，实际经验  practical value 实际价值   practical work 社会实践；实际作业

E.g. It's a theoretical matter as well as a practical one.这不仅是个实践问题, 也是个理论问题。
