Television is a very important part in people's lives. Not only the old but also the young like watching TV very much. Some parents think that watching TV is good for their children,because they can know more about the world. Other parents do not let their children watch TV too often. They think it's a waste (浪费) of time. And it's bad for children's eyes. Every coin has two sides. Some TV shows are good and we can learn a lot from them. My name is Frank, a man who likes watching TV. Here are a few of my favorite TV shows. I'd like to share them with you.

Blue Peter

When I was a child, this was the only show I could watch. I watched it three times a week.You can learn about different countries around the world from it. As the show is for children, the language in it is easy.

The Great British Bake Off

This show is about making bread, cakes and so on. The show wants to find Britain's best bakers(烘焙师). By watching the show, you can get some new ideas to try baking(烘焙). And you can also find the special recipes(配方) for baking nice food.

Frozen Planet

This one is about life in cold places. You can see many special animals in this show. I love the show not because of the cute animals, but because of its educational value. Pointless

This show is great for making you think. It is a quiz(知识竞赛) show. It may be about sports, weather, movies and so on. I have learned lots of knowledge from it.
