Unit 4　Where's my schoolbag?

一.教学目标

1．知识目标

(1)词汇：where，table，bed，bookcase，sofa，chair，on，under

(2)句型：—Where's the schoolbag？—It's under the table.

2．能力目标

Be able to describe where things are by using the positional prepositions correctly.

3．情感目标

Be able to foster(培养) a good habit of tidying your things up.

二.教学重点

(2)句型：—Where are my books？—They're on the sofa.

—Where's the schoolbag？—It's under the table.

三.教学难点

(1)学习运用“Where's/Where're...？”句型询问物品的位置。

(2)运用方位介词in、on、under描述物品所在的位置。

四.教学过程

1.　复习导入　师生一同复习学过的英语歌曲，如the ABC song。

(通过师生共唱英语歌曲使学生逐步热身并能以轻松、自然的状态投入到英语课堂学习中。)

建议1：头脑风暴

复习前面学过的表示物品的名词，如pencil，book，box，schoolbag，dictionary，pen，key，map，ruler等单词，在屏幕上用闪现的方式展示图片，让学生边看边说，看哪位学生记得又快又多。教师采用男女生PK 的方式进行，激发学生的竞争和合作意识。

For example：

T：Class！Look at each picture that I will show you and say the word that each picture stands for.Let's have a PK between boys and girls.

建议2：利用刚才的图片复习句型“What's this？It's a．..”。教师问“What's this？”学生回答“It's a．..”，然后学生之间互相问答。通过快速复习，既了解了学生对所学知识的

掌握情况，又为本节课的学习做了铺垫。

For example：

T：Class！Do you know what these things are？Look at the first one.

What's this?

Ss：It's a pen.

Then let the students ask and answer in pairs.

1.自学指导：

Self－study the new words：where，table，bed，bookcase，sofa，chair，on，under.

Learn to pronounce them according to the phonetic symbols.And you can listen to the tapes to help you pronounce them correctly or ask others for help.

Self－study guide 2：

Self－study 1a，read the conversations by yourselves and match the words with the things in the pictures.

Questions for thinking：

(1)在桌子里面________________

(2)在床上____________________

(3)在椅子下面________________

The teacher walks around the classroom to watch and help the students study while the students are self－studying.Encourage students to find out their problems in self－studying both in pronunciation and understanding.

Time for questions：

Discuss the difficulties that most students have and explain the language points that most students can't understand.Maybe it is necessary to discuss the usage of prepositions.

利用课件展示不同位置的图片，引出方位介词in，on，under和“Where's/Where are...？”句型。

建议1：on，under和in都可用作方位介词。

under

我是方位介词under，表示“在……下方”。例如：The cat is under the box.

The cat is in the box.
