教学目标

1.通过视频复习重点句型“why is sb. famous?”，“sb. is famous for doing sth.”；“what do you know about sb？”“sb.be good at doing sth..”

2.复习本单元重点单词inventor,artist,scientist,poet,writer,American,French,Danish,poem,paint,invention,invent,study,story.

3.扩展学生对更多名人的了解和认识。

教学内容

【本课重点】

1.单词：inventor,artist,scientist,poet,writer,American,French,Danish,poem,paint,invention,invent,study,story.

2.功能句：“why is sb. famous?”，“sb. is famous for doing sth.”；“what do you know about sb？”“sb.be good at doing sth..”

【教学难点】

1.课前学生可能需要用大量的时间搜集关于名人的资料，如果知识匮乏，可能在学习过程中遇到障碍。

2.一些人名较长较复杂,学生可能在认读方面有困难。
