Section B 重点讲解 【1】Please give this letter to Maria.请把这封信交给Maria. give 是动词，意思是“给”。 “把某物给某人”有两种表达方式, give sth. to sb.或者 give sb. sth.。 短语中sth. 指代“某物”, sb. 指代“某人”。 eg. Please give this egg to my mom. =Please give my mum this egg. 请把这个鸡蛋给我的妈妈。 Please give the book to Tom. =Please give Tom the book. 请把这本书给 Tom。 但是要注意，这种用法中，sth. 必须是名词，如果是代词就只能用第一种说法了。 eg. Please give it to her. 就不能说成 Please give her it. 另外注意，词组中的 give 为动词，to为介词，它们后面的宾语如果是代词需要用宾格。 【2】What does she look like? 她长得什么样? 动词短语“look like”的意思是“看起来像”,其中 like 是介词。 eg. Maria looks like her mother. Maria 看起来像她的妈妈。 The girl over there looks like Alice. 那边的那个女孩长得像 Alice。 like 还可以用作动词,表示“喜欢”。 What does she like? 意思是“她喜欢什么”。请注意区分两句意思以及词性的差别。 【3】She is tall and she has short brown hair. 她个子很高而且留着棕色短发。short brown hair 中“short”和“brown”都是形容词,放在名词 hair 前面作定语,当名词前面的定语不止一个时，要注意这些形容词的排列顺序。一般情况下顺序应为：数量+大小+形状+颜色+名词。例如:three big yellow bananas. 三个大黄香蕉 a big round face 一张大大的圆脸。 【4】I see. 我知道了,我明白了。 同义句为“I know.” 【5】Here is a letter for Maria.这里有一封给 Maria的信。这句话是一个倒装句，句子的主语是 a letter 所以 be动词用单数 is，另外注意介词“for”表示“为了……” 基础巩固 Ⅰ.根据句意及汉语提示完成句子，每空一词。 1.我要把这本英语书给张先生。 I’ ll the English book Mr.Zhang. 2.
