选择性必修一 Unit 4 Assessing Your Progress & Project 课 题 UNIT 4 BODY LANGUAGE Period 6 Assessing Your Progress 学 科 英语 班 级 授课教师 教 学目 标 By the end of this section, students will be able to: 1. check and consolidate what they have learnt in this unit when it comes to vocabulary, such as perceive, demonstrate, and stare at; 2. check and consolidate what they have learnt in this unit when it comes to grammar, like -ing form as the object and the predicative; 3. have a better understanding of the importance of body language; 4. improve their ability of self-evaluation and reflection. 教 学 主 题 该板块由二部分组成。第一部分是语言知识检测，设计了两个活动。活动1是在语篇层面的语境中检测本单元词汇的运用。活动2是语法检测题，综合检测学生能否识别动词的-ing形式在句中的功能。第二部分是单元内容评价和反思，引导学生联系实际，思考肢体语言在自己的交际行为中的表现和作用，并反思学习本单元后是否有相应能力的提升。 教 学 重 点 引导学生熟练掌握和运用本单元词汇和语法，更好地体会肢体语言在人际交往中发挥的作用。 教 学难 点 引导学生结合单元内容进行评价和反思，思考本单元的内容对自己产生的影响，提高自我评价和反思的能力。 教 学 内 容 与 过 程 Step 1 语言知识检测 1. 引导学生完成活动1，指导学生自我检测本单元词汇的掌握情况。 2. 引导学生完成活动2，指导学生自我检测本单元语法的掌握情况。 Step 2 反思与评价 引导学生自由讨论单元内容评价和自我反思部分的四个问题。 · Which body language in this unit do you use most often? Does it have the same meaning as in the text? · What do you think you could do to communicate better with other people? · Do you think you will be able to tell more from reading others’ body language from now on? · What problems do you or your friends have in studying this unit? How did you solve them? What advice did you give each other? · Overall, I thought this unit was interesting useful so-so difficult.
