人教版选择性必修一第二单元拓展阅读Our greatest adventure 教学设计   阅读课文本来源：人教版选择性必修一第二单元Expanding Your World文章；该文本通过对未来科技的预测和畅想，进而思考人类未来最大的冒险，以及如何应对这样的冒险。 文本特点 文章是一篇科技性说明文，畅想了如智能衣服、虚拟现实等诸多未来科技。文章结构总分总，语言简洁、精炼、客观。文章通过对未来科技的思考，联想到人类未来最大的冒险，具有科技性和人文性。 本节课的设计理念 本节课的设计理念是“以生为本”，通过思维导图引导学生梳理文章内容。另外，让学生复习并继续掌握repetition, reference, conjunction和hyponymy等语篇衔接手段，学会在阅读和写作中灵活运用这些衔接手段。 话题 未来科技 教学简要步骤 一、导入 通过课前Bungee Jumping的视频，让学生填空，引出adventure，进而向学生提问：What's your greatest adventure? What's human's greatest adventure?从而导入本课。 二、提问 让学生基于对标题和图片的理解提问：What do you want to know about the passage? 学生的典型问题是：What's our greatest adventure? What should we do? 三、阅读 先让学生带着疑问自主阅读全文，然后完成学案的填空题。学案是一张浓缩了文章大意的思维导图。该图既清楚呈现了文章结构，又梳理了各部分的重要内容。尤其是上面的填空题能够帮助学生快速梳理文本信息，并熟悉本文的重点词汇。 另外，在完成填空题的过程中，教师也要抓住时机回答学生之前所提的问题，这也是对文章主题意义的探究。通过自主阅读，学生能比较容易找到答案，即future是our greatest adventure，人类的应对方法是去不断探索。同时，基于文章最后一段内容，提出如下问题，让学生思考并分享观点：Which is more important, the result or the process of exploration? Why? 最后，再分享现代管理学之父Peter Drucker的名句：The best way to predict future is to create it，从而呼应本文主题。 四、衔接手段的应用 在完成学案的过程中，教师结合例子适时讲解文中所出现的衔接手段：repetition, reference, conjunction和hyponymy.由于本文conjunction的手段贯穿全文，基于前面教师的讲解，再让学生在文中找出conjunction的例子，这是对衔接手段的巩固训练。衔接手段的学习有利于学生在阅读时自主分析文本结构和内容，更有助于提升写作能力。 五、产出 Suppose you are Peter Drucker who schedules to give a speech entitled Our Greatest Adventure at your high school.
