It depends on what kind of kite you want and how high you would like it to fly. Step 2 Presentation (1a) 1. Do you know how to fly a kite? What are kites made of? Write down some materials used in making kites. 2. Choose one of the groups to report to the class. Step 3 Listening (1b-1d) 1. Read the instruction. 2. Play the recording for the first time. Ask the students to circle the correct answers. 3. Play the recording for a second time. Ask the students to write L for Laura or Z for Zheng Yun. 4. Listen again.
