Step 2 Language points 1. used to意为“过去常常”，用于表示过去习惯性的动作或存在的状态（强调与现在的对比，暗示现在不做了）。其中to为不定式符号，后跟动词原形。 used to只用于一般过去时态，没有人称和数的变化。 e.g. Tom used to be very thin, but now he’s big and strong. Mike used not to study hard. = Mike didn’t use to study hard. 迈克过去不努力学习。 2. 一般疑问句 Did+主语+ use + to do …? 答语：Yes, sb. did. / No, sb. didn’t. e.g. —Did you use to go to museums? 你以前常去博物馆吗？ —Yes, I did. / No, I didn’t. 是的。/ 不是。 3. 反意疑问句 主句+ didn’t+人称代词？ e.g. Your brother used to have noodles for breakfast, didn’t he? 你哥哥过去早餐常吃面条，不是吗？ 注意： 1) used to do sth.表示过去习惯性的动作或存在的状态。to后跟动词原形，只用于一般过去时态。 2) be used to + n. /pron./doing意为“习惯于……”，to是介词，后接名词、代词或动名词。可用于各种时态。 3) get/become used to sth./doing sth.意为“逐渐习惯于……”，强调这一习惯的过程，to是介词。 4) be used to do意为“被用来做……”，被动语态结构，to后跟动词原形。 5) be used for doing sth.意为“被用来……”，介词for表示功能、用途。 Step 3 Practice (4a) Teacher: Try to analyze the following sentences by using what we have learnt just now.
