Grammar The revision of v-ing 动词-ing在句子中可以充当主语、宾语、表语、定语、 宾补和状语。 一.动词-ing作主语 1.请找出下列句子的主语。 1)Smoking does harm to our health. 2)Playing basketball is so interesting. 3)Workina hard when you are young can help you live a better life when you are old. 2.动词-ing形式作主语的几个常用句型： )做某事没有好处： It is no good doing sth. 2)做某事没有用处： It is no use useless doing sth. It is useless doing sth. 3)做某事是浪费时间的：It is a waste of time doing sth. 4)值得做某事：It is worthwhile doing sth. 5)做某事毫无意义：There is no point doing sth. 6)There is no joking about such matters. 这种事开不得玩笑。 二.动词-ing作宾语 1.请找出下列句子的宾语。 1)He enjoys listening to violin music,playing mah-jong,swimming and reading.( 2)However,he doesn't care about being famous. (介宾) 2.常跟动词-ing作宾语的动词：suggest,admit,avoid, keep,advocate,mind,practice,risk,quit等。 常跟动词-ing作宾语的的短语：feel like(想要)，lead to, be busy,be worth,be addicted to,be accustomed be used to,subscribe to,object to,pay attention to,look forward to,devote...to,be opposed to, have difficulty/trouble(in)等。 3.既可接动名词又可接不定式作宾语的动词，常见的有： love,like,hate,begin,start,continue,intend,want, need,remember,forget,regret,.try等。 但是有一些动词后接v-ing形式/不定式结构意义完全不同 注意：remember doing记得做过某事 remember to do 记得要去做某事 forget doing 忘记做了某事forget to do 忘记要去做 regret doing 后悔做了某事 regret to do 很遗憾要去做 mean doing意味着做某事 mean to do 打算做某事 try doing 尝试做某事 try to do 尽力做某事 stop doing停止做某事 stop to do停下来做另一事 go on doing 继续做某事go on to do接下来做另一件事 三.动词-ing作表语 My job is teaching (teach)English.
