Step1 Pre-task
Play guessing games to make the students have a brain storming by using It could/ might be a/an…,encourage them to say as much as they can.
设计说明:通过游戏导入,可以很好的营造课堂气氛,同时可以激发学生学习英语的兴趣。
Step2 While-task
1. guess “whose backpack id this?”
2. It can’t be Mr Li’s.
It might/could be Bob’s or Mary’s.
3. What’s in the backpack?
Whose notebook is this? I’m sure it is Mary’s notebook. It has her name on it .
It must be Mary’s notebook. It must belong to Mary.
The backpack must belong to Mary.
Step3. Pair work (Game time) All the students, close your eyes.
I will pick up several things from your desk.
Then open your eyes, and guess in pairs.
A: Whose book is this?
B: It must be Mary’s. Hemingway is her favorite author.
Step4 . Listening
