How to write an initiative letter （倡议书） Definition of initiative writing 倡议书是为倡议、发起某项活动而写的号召性的公开提议性的专用书信。 理由充分可激起更多的人响应； 语言生动有号召力可在最大的范围内引起共鸣。 写作思路与步骤 ： 第一步：发出倡议的背景、原因和目的。 倡议书、呼吁信的发出贵在引起响应，只有交待清楚原因、背景、事实，并申明目的，才会使呼吁方理解和信服并展开行动。(what) 第二步：倡议的具体内容和要求 ，内容具体化才能体现它的意义和行动价值。 最好分条开列，这样清晰明确，一目了然。(why and how) 第三步：结尾要表示倡议者的决心和希望。（a call to action） Organization 联合国称全世界正面临最严重的粮食危机。最近，我国进一步推广遏制食物浪费的活动。请你以学生会的名义给你校的同学写一封倡议书，内容包括： 1.该活动的必要性； 2.具体建议。 Dear friends, The world is now facing the worst food crisis, while tons of food is being wasted across the world.
