The risk she was taking——她所冒的风险。冒风险的短语是take the risk或是run the risk.如果是“冒…的风险”则是take/run the risk of doing sth.比如： I don’t want to run the risk of losing my job.我不想冒丢掉饭碗的风险。 Run after——“在…后面跑”，意思就是“追逐、追赶”了。比如： 2.
