You will need: Enough copies of the map for each pupil in the class Steps: 1.Give each pupil a copy of the map. 2.Tell the pupils that you have hidden four treasure boxes and you are going to tell them where they can find the treasure boxes.They have to mark the places where the treasure boxes can be found on the map with an X following your instructions. E.g.You may say,You are at Point A.Go straight along Pebble Road.Turn right into Blue Street. You can find the treasure box opposite the park..The pupils should then put an X in the box with fast food shop'written in it. 3.Choose three other places to hide the other treasure boxes.Start each route at a different starting point,e.g.'You are at Point B...'. 4. Check the answers with the class.See how many pupils can get all the answers correct. Alternative: Each pupil chooses a place to hide a treasure box.Invite some of them to give the class directions to find the treasure boxes.Remind the pupils that they can start their routes at any of the starting points on the map.
