Task 1 Making a class book of dream jobs
Task description
In pairs,pupils talk with their partner about what they want to be when they grow up.Then they find more
information,make notes and write about their dream job.Finally all pupils compile their pieces of writing about
jobs into a class book.

1 Read the rubrics and examples carefully with the class.Practise the language needed for the task and
demonstrate the steps by using the pictures at each step of the task.

2 In pairs,pupils talk with their partner about what they want to be when they grow up.

3 They find out and make notes about the job they like by answering the questions on the Copymaster.They
can find the information from the Internet,books,magazines,etc.

4 Then they write about the job.
5 More able pupils could find out and write about a second job they like.
