Teaching aims
1.学会四会单词cocoon,butterfly,change ,moth, surprise.
2.能熟练运用How can it become a butterfly?
3.能用自己的话,结合图片来描述蝴蝶的各种生长状态。
4.能熟练地表演Learn to say部分的内容并改编小对话,培养学生对所学词汇和句型的实际运用能力。
5.培养学生热爱大自然的良好情操以及观察大自然的能力。 Teaching keys and difficulties
本课时的教学重点是Learn to say 部分的课文及Try to use部分的词汇和句子。要求学生在教师创设的情境中和熟练朗读表演课文的过程中,对于新单词做到听、说、读写“四会”,并能在合适的语境中准确运用。引导学生在理解课文的基础上跟读表演。 本课时的教学难点是Try to use 部分的词汇和句型,生词较难记忆,教师应在教学中首先让学生按音节读准单词,在分散难点,并注重加强书写训练,已达到生词的四会。
Teaching procedures
Step1.Warming-up
1.Greetings.
T: Hello ,boys and girls! Ss: Hello, Miss He! T:Nice to meet you! Ss: Nice to meet you ,too.
2.老师指着白板上的一只蝴蝶说:“What is this?”
Ss:“蝴蝶”
T: How to say “ 蝴蝶”in English?Butterfly,教师教授蝴蝶英文单词。
T: This beautiful butterfly wants to invite us sing a song . Are you ready?
Ss: Go! 师生共唱儿歌“Butterfly”
Step2. Presentation
把事先藏在黑板上大树后的蝴蝶拿出来出来,边拿着蝴蝶边说:Look!There is a butterfly flying into our class. It’s so beautiful. Do you like it?
Ss: Yes.
T: What color butterflies have you seen?
Ss: They are black, white, orange, red... Do you want to know more about it?
Ss: Yes
Step3. New structures learning
1.play a video clip to let Ss know the life cycle of the butterfly .
T: Discuss the life cycle of the butterfly in your group.小组代表汇报结果。教师逐步出示蝴蝶的生命周期egg-larva-cocoon-butterfly在此环节引出新词cocoon并有序操练。
2.T: Now, Billy and Liu Gang see a cocoon. Let’s have a look what they are talking about. Listen to the tape, try to find the answer. Ss听音回答问题。
S1: A butterfly will come out of it.
S2: How can it become a butterfly? T:板书How can it become a butterfly?
3.T:How can it become a butterfly?
Let’s go on listening to the tape. One week later, what will happen to the cocoon?
S1: It looks the same.
S2: It’s changing inside. 教师讲解change。
4.Another week later, what will happen to the cocoon?
S1: A butterfly is coming out.
S2: It’s not a butterfly. It’s a moth.
教师讲解moth。教师做出吃惊表情并说道 What a surprise!教师讲解surprise.
5.T: Listen to the tape a
