SH---size&shape表大小形状的词。如long, short, round, square等。 A---age表新旧的词。如new, old等。 比 C---colour表颜色的词。如red, black, purple, brown, yellow等。 O---origin表产地的词。如Italian, Spanish, Canadian, Australian, Japanese等。 M--material表材料的词。如leather, glass, rubber, metal, silk, plastic等。 按此顺序, "一件新的漂亮的意大利的黑皮夹克衫。"的英语为"a beautiful new black Italian Ieather jacket." 2.different用法 表示示”与……不同”, 后一般般接介词from,有时也用to (英)或than(美) ,但均不及用from普遍。如: 1）、City life is very different from [to, than] country life.城市生活与农村生活很不相同。 2）、Their tastes are different from [to, than] mine.他们的爱好与我的不同。 顺便说一句,副词differently的情形也是一样。如: He thinks differently from [to, than] you. 他的想法与你的不同。 副词much通常不修饰形容词原级,但different是个例外,它可受much的修饰。如: He is much different from you.他与你大不相同。 其他修饰different的常见副词如下例: 1)、He is very different from me.他与我很不相同。 2)、This is quite different from that.这个与那个很不相同。 为了加强否定的语气,可用no代替not。比较: 1)、This is not different from that. 这个与那个没有差别。 2)、This is no different from that. 这个与那个完全一样。 注: no different from=the same as。 3 similar用法 一般搭配短语为be similar to My new dress is similar to the one you have. 我的新衣服和你的那件相似. All big cities are quite similar. 所有的大城市差不多大同小异. 可以说be similar in some way 在某种程度或方面相似 They are similar in what way? similar in在..方面相似的 similar in appearance在外貌上相像 similar in colour颜色相似 similar in outlook外表相似 similar to 与..相似的 similar to brass和黄铜相似 4.laugh用法 laugh作' 笑解时是不及物动词，作笑着表示解时是及物动词，接名词或代词作宾语，也可接以形容词充当补足语的复合宾语。laugh可接同源宾语，该同源宾语前通常有形容词hearty, merry等修饰。 laugh作"笑，笑声，笑态解时是可数名词指具体的笑的动作，可指一般地发笑或出声地大笑。 He could tell she was in a bad mood, and tied to laugh her out of it. 他看出她心情
