Step 2 Presentation 1.Listen to the conversations from the videos and fill in the blanks.Then check the answers. 2.Compare the direct questions with the polite requests.Let the students find out the differences between them. They add“Could you tell me.,?“I wonder..”to make them more polite.In the Objectives Clauses,they use "if/whether,where,when..."as the linking words. Then the teacher have a summary of the linking words. The second difference is that they use the declarative word order in the Objective Clauses.Then the teacher explain what the declarative word order is.
