Lead-in
1. What do you think of when you see the photo?
2. What sea animals and plants do you know?
3. What words would you use to describe the sea?
I think the photo looks wonderful, and I would love to go there and dive to see the fish.
There are many sea animals that I know about, such as dolphins, sharks, manatees, whales, shellfish, crabs, and seahorses. I am less familiar with sea plants, except perhaps seaweed.
To me, the sea is full of life. Even when you cannot see ocean animals, the sea itself is constantly in motion and never standing still. As something full of life, the sea also has moods. Sometimes it is bright and cheerful, while at other times it is stormy and angry.
