The girl can walk now. 【学习重难点】 掌握can，can’t的一般过去式形式，并能在实际情景中进行运用。 【知识探究】 一、导学： 1. 教师出示一张Fifi 的图片。 T: What can Fifi do? What can’t Fifi do? Ss: Fifi can… Fifi can’t… 2. 教师出示一张Fifi 一年前的图片。 T: What could Fifi do then? What couldn’t Fifi do then? Help Ss learn “ could, couldn’t”. 结合图片引导学生理解could，couldn’t 是 can , can’t 的过去式。 二、知识构建： 1. 新课呈现。 （1）认真听第一部分的听力，听教师讲解find的过去式found，can的过去式could。 （2）观察教师出示的Listen and read部分的消防员的图片，学习单词fire，firefighters. （3）认真听教师的提问，回答教师的问题，掌握could的否定形式couldn’t. （4）分组讨论下列问题： Where were the people? Were they safe? （5）观察教师出示的Read and write部分的小女孩儿的图片及教师的讲解，学习句子 The girl couldn’t walk then. The girl can walk now. （6）掌握单词now，then的区别。 （7）画出自己喜欢的动物的简笔画。 （8）介绍自己喜欢的动物。如My favorite animal is the dog.
