教材分析
What:These are four conversations among four different pairs of students. The contents of the first three conversations are about greeting each other respectively in the morning, afternoon and evening. The content of the last one is about greeting each other by using “How are you?”.
Why:Let students know how to greet each other at different period in a day and enhance their understanding of the form and meaning of communication.
How:The words of the conversations are very simple, which is suitable for the new middle school students’ learning condition. The conversations provide various ways of greeting to students so that they will be more familiar with greeting.
教学目标
By the end of this lesson, students will be able to:
1. 语言能力:understand how to greet others respectively in the morning, afternoon and evening and know how to pronounce letter A and E.
2. 学习能力:know how to pronounce new words by learning the different pronunciations and summarize what they learned by using mind map.
3. 文化意识:know various ways of greeting in English so that they more realize the culture diversity; improve the sensitivity and discrimination of cultural differences between China and foreign countries.
4. 思维品质:watch the video with questions and think accordingly to improve the ability of observation and discrimination; internalize and revise the knowledge to spell new words after learning related phonological knowledge.
