How was your vacation ? 【教学过程】 Step 1: Warming-up and revision Point to Oct.1st on a wall calendar and say, This is National Day. Then tell some things you did on National Day vacation such as, stayed at home; went to New York City;went to the mountains;visited museums... Step 2: work on 1a—This activity introduces the key vocabulary. Ask students to tell what they see. Name each activity and ask students to repeat the phrases. Then ask one student to stand in front of the class and do some actions ,and other ss guess what did he/she do on vacation. Then do 1a,match the activities with the pictures. Step 3：Listening 1. Ask Ss listen and answer three questions: How many people you heard in the recording? How many girls are there? How many boys are there? 2. Then ask ss to listen and number the people in the picture.(1-5) and match a-g with each person. 3. Listen for the third time and repeat. Step 4. Pair work 1 Work on 1c: do a pair work to talk about 1b. A: Where did Tina go on vacation? B: She went to the mountains. Step 5. Listening 1. Listen. Where did the people go on vacation?
