Warming up and lead-in 1. Self-introduction and ask the students to watch a video and lead to the topic. 2. Try to lead the students to observe the following four sentences. The girl is watching TV. The boy is reading a newspaper. My parents are talking. She is shopping. Ⅱ.Present 1. what is the continuous tense? a.表示现在，也就是说话时正在进行的动作 -What are you doing now,  -I am talking on the phone.  b、表示现阶段正在进行或存在的动作 Tom is writing a story this week. c. 现在进行时常和时间状语： Now、 this week。right now、 at moment, at present, 等连用，或句子的开头有 look listen, smell等词提醒注意正在发生的事情. - Look, what is she doing? -She is singing. Ⅲ.Summarize the rules 1. The girl is singing. The boy is reading. My parents are talking. She is shopping. 主语 be动词 动词的ing So present how to build the present continuous tense. 主语+be动词+动词的ing review the usage of be动词 我用am, 你用are, is留给她、他、它，单数不可数用is,复数全用are. Step 3: Build the V+ing. 1、 一般情况下，直接在动词末尾加ing listen-listening 2、 以不发音字母e结尾的动词，先去e,再加ing take-taking 3、 以重读闭音节结尾的动词，词尾只有一个辅音字母，应双写末尾的辅音字母，再加ing。 shop-shopping Step 4: Change 1、 Is she exercising? 是现在进行时的一般疑问句。 进行时，变否定，be动词提到主语前。 2、 She is not exercising. 是现在进行时的否定句。 进行时，变否定，be动词后添not.
