Step 2 Work on 3a 1.Have the students read the article about Greenwood Park.Let them fill in the blanks with the correct superlative forms of the adjectives and adverbs in the box. 2.Check the answers with the students. 3.Encourage the students to read the article loudly. Step 3 Work on 3b 1.Have the students complete the task in 3b. 2.Choose one student to say his or her answers. Step 4 Work on 3c 1.Let the students write about their town and the best places/things there. 2.Share some writing skills and instructions with the students. 3.Choose 2 or 3 students to read their compositions. 4.Correct the mistakes. Step 5 Work on 4 Let the students work in pairs to discuss the towns/cities in China.Ask them to tell their partners which town/city they think is the best using the sentences in the box. (2)Check the answers. ◇教学反思◇ 　　本节课是第四单元的最后一节课,大部分学生已经能够正确运用形容词和副词的最高级,并完成3a中的短文和Self Check中的练习。百分之八十的学生能够及时完成写作练习。但个别学生不会运用副词的最高级,需要利用课后的时间加以练习。 1
