一.重点单词及拓展:
1. other 不定代词,别的,其他的,后面通常接可数名词复数/不可数名词
other students 别的学生 other news 其它新闻
others 不定代词= other + 名词 other students = others 别的人或事物
the other 特指两者中的另一个, 常用结构one…the other 一个…另一个
例:I have two pens, one is red, the other one is black.
我有两支笔,一支是红色,另一只是黑色。
another, 三者或三者以上中的另一个,表示泛指,也可翻译成“再一个”
例:I don’t like this pen, please give me another one.
我不喜欢这支笔,再给我来一支别的。

2. remember 动词,记得;反义词忘记,forget (用法基本相同),后面可以直接接名词或代词做宾语,如remember me记得我。
后接动词时,通常有两种结构:
remember to do sth. 记得要做某事(还没做)
remember doing sth. 记得做过某事(已经做过)
例:Please remember to close the windows when you leave the room.
记得在你离开房间前把窗户关上。
Do you remember writing your name on the test paper? 你记得在试卷上写名字了吗?
注:forget to do sth. 忘记要做某事(还未做)
forget doing sth. 忘记做过某事(已经做了)
造句练习:
1) 别忘了按时吃午饭。(on time)
2) 我记得带了我的英语书。(bring)
3. seem 似乎;好像 feel 感觉,感官动词 这两个词后面都接形容词。
例:She seems quite happy today. 她今天好像很开心。
Tom doesn’t feel well today, he has a headache. Tom今天感觉不舒服,他头疼。
4. lonely 形容词,孤单的;孤独的 alone, 形容词/副词,独自的
例: I am alone but I don’t feel lonely. 我一个人,但我不觉得孤独。
Are you lonely? 你孤单吗?
5. become 动词,成为;变得
基本用法同系动词,后接名词或形容词做表语。
例:She became a teacher at the age of 22. 她在22岁那年成为了一名老师。
The weather becomes cooler and cooler now. 天气变得越来越冷了。
造句练习:
1) 我总是觉得很孤单。
2) 将来我想成为一名英语教师。(in the future)
