第六讲 9AU2Comic---Reading 知识梳理 一、知识梳理 1. Try it on. try on意为“试穿”，这里的on是副词，宾语是代词时，只能放在两者之间。 例如：The girl is trying on her new coat. What a beautiful dress! Can I try it on? 辨析： wear 强调“穿、戴”的状态 put on 指“穿、戴”的动作,表示“穿上、戴上 dress 意为“给......（人）穿衣” ，其宾语是人，而不是 “衣服”。 2. But there is nothing wrong with pink... There is nothing wrong with...相当于There isn’t anything wrong with...或者Nothing is wrong with..., 意为“……没什么问题”。不定代词作主语，谓语动词用单数。 Don’t worry about your son. There is nothing wrong with him. [拓展]There is something wrong with...，sth doesn’t work或者something is wrong with...表示“……出问题了”。 There’s something wrong with my watch. = Something is wrong with my watch. = My watch doesn’t work. 3. And I’m not sure if blue looks good on you. （1）sure用作形容词，表示“确信”，后接of介词短语、动词不定式或者从句。 例如：He is sure to come here on time. I am sure that my father will buy a bike for me. [拓展]sure的其它用法 make sure意为“确保”，后接of短语或者that从句。 例如：I tried to make sure of the problem. Make sure that no one finds out about it. sure用作副词表示“当然”，相当于certainly或者of course。 例如：---Will you please open the door? ---Sure. （2）if这里是连词，意为“是否”，引导宾语从句。 例如：I don’t know if he can finish the work on time. Can you tell me if he likes that book? （3）look good on= sb. look good in sth. 意为“穿……好看”。 I think red looks good on you.=I think you look good in red. 4.One day, Millie looked out of her window after a rain shower and saw a rainbow. （1）one day意为“某一天”，既可以表示将来的某一天，也可以表示过去的某一天。 例如：One day, he went back to school again. I think you will be sorry one day. （2）look out of意为“从……向外看”。 例如：I looked out of the window and saw a bird in the tree. The teacher asked the boy not to look out in class. [拓展] look out还可以表示“当心、小心”，相当于be careful。 Look out!
