He can speak eight languages. 李先生精通多种语言，他会说八种语言。 2).story 故事 → stories（复数） 词组：write stories 写故事 tell stories讲故事 例：Jack’s favorite story is Three Little Ducks.杰克最喜欢的故事是三只小鸭子。 例：Her grandpa tells two stories every weekend.每个周末她的爷爷都会讲两个故事。 4.Can you speak English? 你会讲英语吗？ Please talk to Mr. Zhang after school. talk 表示“与……交谈”，talk to/with sb. 和某人交谈talk about sth 谈论某事 speak 强调单方的“说，讲”，不强调内容，其后的宾语为某种语言。 say 意为“说出”，强调说话的内容。 tell 意为“告诉”，指把一件事或一个故事讲出来，有连续诉说之意。 例：What are they talking about?他们正在谈论什么? 例：Jim speaks Chinese very well.吉姆汉语说得相当好。 例：What do you want to say?你想说什么? 例：Please tell me something about your father.请告诉我关于你爸爸的一些事情。 5.Can you sing or dance? 1).这是一个选择疑问句。选择疑问句的回答不同于一般疑问句，不能用Yes或No来回答。 例：—Do you like apples or bananas? —Apples. 2).and 和 or 的用法辨析。 (1) and 和、且(用于肯定句中) 例：Tom and Jack can play soccer well.汤姆和杰克能打足球打得很好。 (2) or 或者；也不(用于疑问句中或否定句中) 例：Can you sing or dance?你会唱歌还是跳舞？ 例：My sister can’t play basketball or soccer.我姐姐不会打篮球也不会踢足球。 6.Students Wanted for School Show 1).show n.演出；节目 school show 校园演出 talent show 才艺表演 例：We want students for the school show.我们需要学生参加我们的校园演出。 2).v.给……看；展示 show sb.
