Story Time The tiger and the Monkey教学设计 一、教材分析 本节课是闽教版小学英语四年级上册Story Time The tiger and the Monkey。在故事语境中，学习新词汇hungry, bring, sorry, obey, kill等。同时，在故事情节的推进过程中，通过体验tiger 和monkey的不同感受。有感情地朗读句子：Sorry, I can don’t do that.I’m the King.You must obey me, or I’ll kill you等。通过故事阅读，学生能获取关键信息理解故事，朗读并表演故事。同时，通过故事学习，能明白遇到危险时要冷静、动脑筋。 二、学情分析 四年级的学生，已经积累了不少的词汇量，绝大多数学生能积极参与学习过程,对故事表演有浓厚兴趣。学生能在老师的引导下，合理猜测，并学习词汇和句型。 三、教学目标分析 1.语言能力 （1）学习词汇：hungry, bring, obey, kill , another, forest, won’t, river。 （2）学习故事中主要句型： I’m hungry, Monkey. Bring me some food. There’s another tiger in the forest. Follow me to the river. 2.学习能力 （1）在故事中体验不同人物的情感，有感情地模仿读句子 （2）通过学习，培养学生自主学习与合作交流的能力。 3.思维品质 在课堂中引导学生通过观察、猜测、思考等活动培养学生用英语英语进行多元思维的能力。 4.文化品格 教育学生遇到危险时要冷静、动脑筋。 四、教学重点、难点分析 教学重点 1.主要词汇：hungry, bring, obey, kill , another, forest, won’t, river。 2.主要句型： I’m hungry, Monkey. Bring me some food. There’s another tiger in the forest. Follow me to the river. 教学难点 1.在图片帮助下理解、叙述故事。 2.表演故事。 五、教学过程 Step 1 Warming - up 1. Greetings. 2. Chant. 3. Enjoy the pictures about story book. 【设计意图】欢快生动的Chant，营造轻松活泼的课堂氛围，吸引学生的注意力。欣赏故事图片，让学生回顾学过的动物故事，并引出新授的故事。 Step 2 Presentation 1. Enjoy the picture. Listen and answer. Where? Who? How? 【设计意图】通过第一次观看故事，整体感知故事，培养学生在语境中获取关键信息的能力。 2. Picture 1 Learn the words：hungry, bring. New sentences: I’m hungry, Monkey. Bring me some food. Read in roles. 【设计意图】理解操练bring me……，让学生感受故事中人物的情感，在表演过程中融入故事。 3. Picture 2-3 Learn new words: King, obey, kill, another. Sentences: There is another tiger in the forest. He won’t let me give you any food. Fill in the blanks and read the passage. 4. Picture 4 Listen and think how did the tiger react? Imitate the sentences with emotion. 5. Picture 5-6 Learn “follow me, look into”. Act out the dialogue. 6.
