In different places, people greet each other differently. Now let's have a look.

South Korea: Men bow and shake hands to greet each other. Women do not usually shake hands. If you address(称呼) someone, you can use his or her full name. The family name comes first, and then the first name.
Finland(芬兰): Finns greet each other with a handshake. Hugs and kisses are only for close friends and family members.
The Philippines(菲律宾): The everyday greeting for friends is a handshake for both men and women. Men sometimes pat(拍) each other on the back.

二、根据短文内容,回答问题。
A little girl thought she was not as beautiful as other girls. So she was always unhappy and didn't like to talk to others. However, one day, her mother gave her a beautiful hair clip(发夹). She decided to wear it to school.
On her way to school, she found that everyone smiled at her. Many of her schoolmates said "Hello" to her, but this never happened before. She thought it was because of the beautiful hair clip.
When she went back home after school, her mother said to her, "Do you know you dropped your hair clip? I found it by the door this morning." In fact, the girl didn't wear the hair clip to school at all.
It is not important what we wear or how we look. The most important thing is what we think about ourselves.
1. What did the girl think of herself?
2. What did her mother do for her one day?
