1. time off 意思是“（ 正式规定的）休假或放假”。如： If you are feeling tired, you should take some time off. Will you mind if I have some time off? 表示“休/ 请多长时间的假”则用：have … off / take … off 我们休三天假。 We have / take three days off. ask for … leave 表示“请多长时间的假” eg.他生病了，所以请了两天假。 He was ill, so he asked for two days’ leave. 2. Here we are. 我们到了。 here we are 我们到了 相当于we’ve arrived。 e.g. 我们到了。先休息一会吧。 Here we are. Have a rest first. here you are 给你 用于给某人东西的场合。 e.g. 这是你的钱包，给你。 This is your wallet. Here you are. 3. It’s so quiet here that I can even hear the birds singing! 这里安静得我甚至能听见鸟叫的声音。 so…that 如此……, 以至于…… 引导结果状语从句 （1）结果状语从句为肯定句时，so… that…可以与…enough to do…转换； eg.戴维如此强壮以至于他能搬动这个重箱子。 David is so strong that he can lift the heavy box. →David is ____________ lift the heavy box. （2）从句为否定句时，so…that…可与too…to…或not…enough to do…转换。eg.这个女孩如此小以至于她不能自己穿衣服。 The girl is so young that she can’t dress herself. = The girl is _______young ________dress herself. =The girl is ______old ______ _______ dress herself. so…that与such…that so…that such…that so后跟形容词或副词，常构成结构：so+形容词或副词+that从句 such后跟名词，常构成结构: such+ a/an+形容词+可数名词单数+that从句 such+形容词+可数名词复数+that从句 such+形容词+不可数名词+that从句 e.g. 这些医生如此忙，以至于没有时间休息。 The doctors were so busy that they had no time to rest. 他是一个如此聪明的男孩，以至于大家都喜欢他。 He is such a clever boy that everybody likes him. 注意： 当名词前有many, much, few, little (少)时，只能用so，不用such。 e.g. He had so many books to read that he had no time to watch TV. 他有这么多书要读，以至于没有时间看电视。 4.This is ______interesting a book that we all enjoy reading it. 5.They are ______ interesting books that we all enjoy reading them. 6.He has _____many books that I can't count them. 9.I have _____little money that I cannot afford a car. 10.He is _____a good student that we all like him. 11.
