Summarize the usage of emphatic sentence 一、强调句型是英语中一种重要的句子结构，它可以强调主语、宾语和状语，是英语学习者必须掌握的重点句型之一。其基本结构为： It is/was + 被强调部分 + that（who） + 其它成分 e.g. I bought a book yesterday. →It was I that/who bought a book yesterday. →It was a book that I bought yesterday. →It was yesterday that I bought a book. 二、强调句型的判断 把“it, be, that”去掉，如果剩余部分句子结构仍然完整（被强调部分要还原到原位置），那么这个句子就是强调句；如果句子不完整，则不是强调句。 ①It is he that/who often helps me with my English. ②It was 9 o’clock when we came back. 三、强调句型的主谓一致 被强调的主语要和that后的谓语动词保持一致。 ①It is Mary who often ______ (help) me with my English. ②It is I that _______ (be) against you. 四、not…until结构的强调 强调“not…until”引导的时间状语从句时，要用“it is/was not until… that…”结构。 Be able to remember and use them accurately. 教 学 内 容 教 学 内 容 2.Read and underline.
