Analysis of Teaching Contents 本课时是人教版新目标英语七年级下册Unit 5第六课时，教材内容围绕着描述动物与表达喜好展开，自然生物话题是学生比较感兴趣的话题。Section A通过图文观察与听说活动，引领学生进入“参观动物园”的情景，目的在于让学生了解各种动物的英文名称，以及他们生长的地方与习性，并能运用英语简单谈论对动物的喜好的原因。Section B (2a-2c) 提出了“保护动物”的主题，该部分在谈论对动物的喜好和动物的能力时，加入了“动物保护”的话题。本部分Self Check & Revison的核心话题是描述动物，要求学生会听读并用说写的方式表达Why/What-questions。这也是本单元的教学重点和难点。通过本节课的学习，学生应能较流利地运用所学词汇和句型描述动物，表达个人喜好。 II.
