Unit5 Doctor and nurse Let’s learn教学设计 Teaching Aims: 1. Using nouns to identify people e.g. doctor, cook. 2. Using adjectives to describe people e.g. old, young. Teaching importance: Pronounce words properly. Teaching difficulties: Using adjectives to describe people. Teaching aids: Word cards, picture cards and CAI. Teaching Steps: I. Warm-up /Review 1. Sing a song “He is a postman.” 2. CAI shows the pictures, play a memory game. 3. CAI shows the words, play a memory game. II. Presentation 1. Show the picture for “doctor”. Say “doctor”. Repeat for students to copy. 2. Repeat step 1 using the pictures for “nurse” and “cook”. 3. Have Ss look at the screen. Point them and say“ She is a doctor. She is a doctor, too. But she is old ,she is young. ” 4. Hold up the picture cards for “old” and “young”. Say the words and picture cards next to each other on the board. Make sure they understand the meaning of the two new words and encourage them to read. 5. Point to Sam’s grandmother and ask :“Is she old? ”Have Ss answer: “Yes. She is old. ” 6. Point to Sam’s mother and ask :“Is she old? ”Have Ss answer: “No. She is young.” 7. Have students look at the Student’s Book page 24 and listen to T to drill the correct pronunciation. III. Practice 1. Read and point to the words on the Student’s Book page 24.T says the words, Ss point to the words on their books. 2. Practice in pairs. One says the words, one points to the words. 3. T points to the words, Ss read the words. 4. Let’s chant. 5. Play a game. Who is missing? 6. Let’s match. Match the pictures and the words. 7. Let’s guess. Is she a...? 8. Homework Read the words on the page 24 to your parents. 教学反思： 本课为牛津英语一年级下册Unit 5 Doctor and nurse 的词汇课，主要教授三个名词：doctor, nurse, cook,还有两个形容词：old, young。词汇课的重点在于单词的学习，本课的难点是不仅需要学生学会这几个单词的音形意，还要注意区分名词和形容词。 我在教学中为了能让学生感受学习英语的乐趣，注重语言应用能力的培养，根据学生的年龄特点，通过看、演、听、说等方式，让学生易学乐学，并通过歌曲、游戏、竞赛等活动，使学生在丰富多彩的课堂活动中感知语言
