Ask and respond to the topic of natural disasters and human travel, and put forward their own views. 四、教学重点、难点分析 Key points:ss can know some words about some disasters and ask some information about it. Difficult points:in the communication,ss can speak the reasons and influence about natural disasters. 五、教学过程 Step 1 Warming Up *1. Brainstorm. （1）the teacher show ss some pictures about disasters.and then ask ss to discuss the disasters. （2） situation：What disasters may be caused by the eruption of Tangjia volcano? 2. Look and match. Finish activity1,ask ss to introduce the connection and disasters about it and match them. 3. Think and tick. （1）finish activity2 Ss discuss activity6 and have a guess the possible influence. What are the possible effects of natural disasters? （3） ask ss to imitate activity2 and introduce the text. Step 2 Listening 1. Listen and choose. Finish activity3 2. Listen and decide. Finish activity4 and ask ss to choose their answers .then the teacher check the answers. 3. Listen and complete. Finish activity5 and the teacher lead ss to finish the listening part. Step 3 Speaking 1. Listen, read and underline.
