数词 基数词和序数词 一、基数词 在英语中表示数目多少的词称为基数词。 1.基数词的构成 ⑴数字1---20 one, two, three, four, five, six, seven, eight, nine, ten, eleven, twelve, thirteen, fourteen, fifteen, sixteen, seventeen, eighteen, nineteen, twenty; ⑵数字21---99 先说十位, 再说个位, 中间加连字符； 23---twenty-three; 45---forty-five; 99---ninety-nine; ⑶数字101---999 先说百位, 再加and,最后加十位, 个位;   586--- five hundred and eighty-six;   805---eight hundred and five;   ⑷数字1000以上，从右往左数, 每三位数加一个“，”, 第一个“,”前为thousand, 第二个“,”前为million, 第三个“,”前为billion或thousand million, 然后一节一节的表示。   1,001—one thousand and one;   9,786—nine thousand, seven hundred and eighty-six;   18,423—eighteen thousand, four hundred and twenty-three;   6,260,309—six million, two hundred and sixty thousand, three hundred and nine;     1,569,805,406— one billion, five hundred and sixty-nine million, eight hundred and five thousand, four hundred and six.   二、序数词 序数词的构成： ①一般在基数词后加 th。 four—fourth; six—sixth; thirteen—thirteenth 注意:不规则变化的有:one→first, two → second, three → third, five →fifth, eight→eighth, nine → ninth, twelve→ twelfth ②以 y结尾的整十数，变 y 为 ie 再加 th。twenty→twentieth, forty → fortieth, ninety → ninetieth ③从 21 后的“几十几”直至“几百几十几”或“几千几百几十几”只将个位的基数词变为序数词。 twenty-first, two hundred and forty-fifth twenty-second, fifty-third, sixty-fifth ninety-eighth 由基数词变为序数词 基数词 序数词 数字写法 one ________ 1st two ________ 2nd three ________ 3rd five ________ 5th eight ________ 8th first second third fifth eighth 基数词 序数词 数字写法 nine ________ 9th twelve _________ 12th twenty ________ 20th one hundred one hundredth 100th one hundred and one one hundred and first 101st ninth twentieth twelfth 1.hundred,thousand,million billion 等词前面有具体数字并与复数名词连用时，这些词的词尾不可加-s。 如：3 hundred/ thousand/ million 2.hundred,thousand,million billion 与 of 短语连用表概数,不与具体数目连用,这些词的词尾加-s。 如： hundreds / thousands / millions / billions of 考点1 hundred, thousand, million , billion 等词的用法 1.(山西卷)There are over _______ books in our school library.
