[对应学生用书P404] Ⅰ.阅读理解 A (2022·开封模拟)Excellent films have a direct and profound impact on kids of all ages. The following is a list of wonderful movies for children. Pokémon Detective Pikachu Pokémon Detective Pikachu is a mystery adventure set in a fictional city in which humans and Pokémon coexist. Starring Ryan Reynolds as the voice of a Pikachu who can speak to only one human，Tim (Justice Smith)，the story explores how the two team up to look into the supposedly accidental death of Tim's detective father. There's definitely some violence including a terrible car crash but nothing gets bloody. The main characters are frequently in danger，but no one dies. The story promotes teamwork，courage，and friendship and shows how even the seemingly inexperienced can make a difference. Artemis Fowl Artemis Fowl is a scifi fantasy adventure based on the bestselling series by Eoin Colfer. Artemis Fowl Ⅱ (Ferdia Shaw) is a 12yearold talent. When his father goes missing，Artemis forces fairy officer Holly Short (Lara McDonnell) to go with him into the dark，hidden world of magic and fairies to try to restore them both. The book series is tweenfriendly，so you can expect the movie to be friendly，too. Frozen Ⅱ For kids，Frozen Ⅱ is a highly expected 3D computeranimated musical fantasy film that continues the story of Elsa (voiced by Idina Menzel), a queen with icy powers，and her warmhearted sister，Anna (voiced by Kristen Bell).Although the details of the movie haven't been announced yet，it's safe to expect the return of Kristoff (voiced by Jonathan Groff) and kind snowman Olaf (voiced by Josh Gad). Star Wars：Episode Ⅸ—The Rise of Skywalker Star Wars：Episode Ⅸ is the final movie in the most recent Star Wars series. Although the movie's plot details are still completely unknown，it seems certain that many heroes and villains (主要反面人物)will come back. Expect another thrilling，actionpacked scifi adventure；hopefully it will provide a satisfying conclusion for tweens，teens，and up. [解题导语]
