ATP(Automatic Train Protection) is a metro protection system fully developed and implemented in 1960s. ATP is installed on a train in order to keep passengers away from danger. ATP has the functions of ATO, ATS and ATC, which are in the charge of ATP. ATP can monitor the functions of a train and its components. Any failure will trigger the alarm system and stop the line operation. The ATO on a train or in a dispatch center can be warned by ATP system if there is something abnormal on the train.
