Teacher Time Class 1(Grade 9) Analysis of Teaching content Analysis of Teaching content: This unit focuses on the comparative degree and the original form of adjectives. By comparing the life between in the 1980s and now, students should be able to talk about detailed changes by using the target sentences. Try to understand the related sentences and write some sentences in their writing. Analysis of students: students know some rules of adjectives, but apparently they cannot use them freely. Especially they are hard to fill in the blanks with the correct form of the adjectives. Teaching objects(key and difficult ) 1. vocabulary: wealthy, fear, used to, wealth, double, seldom, spare time, speak up, deaf. 2. By the end of this period, most of students would be able to talk about the changes between the 1980s and now by using the sentence patterns “A is/are as ...as ... ; B is/are not so... as...,; A is/are more than B.” at the same time they can give some reasons. 3.difficult points: they can compare the changes in each item, such as education, health, environment, medicine.
