Ask the students   to learn more about him. Step   2　Reading A)Activities   1－2 1.   Show the photos of different hobbies in Activity 1 with some adjectives in   Activity 2 to the students. 2.   Ask the students to describe their hobbies, using the words and expressions   in the box. Choose the best group. B)Activity   3 1.   Ask the students to look at the questions first. Then use the least time to   find the best answers to the questions. 2.   Let the students read the passage carefully and answer the four questions in   Activity 3. 3.   Play the tape twice and ask the students to listen and read. 4.   Have the students retell the passage by PPT. 5.   Have the students complete the sentences to grasp the main idea of the   passage. Step   3　Practice 1.   Ask the students to read the words in the box in Activity 4 and understand   them. Then, complete the four sentences. 2.   Work in pairs. Ask and answer the questions in Activity 4. 3.   Choose two groups to present their answers. Step   4　Writing Tell   the students to look at the sentences in Activity 6 and rewrite the sentences   using as well as, such as or as a result.
