Module 5 Unit 1 What can I do for you? 教材分析 本课教学材料是七年级下册Module 5 Shopping Unit 1 What can I do   for you。本单元主要围绕“购物”话题展开，学生以对话的形式展现本文的内容。本次课堂将以周末购物计划为导入，设置情境，引导学生在真实情景中使用关于购物的英语表达。 教学设计说明 本课旨在以对话教学的形式，通过模拟真实情景，培养学生的语言运用能力。本节课以教师询问学生周末计划为导入，通过情境购物操练单词和句型，让学生在生动有趣的活动中掌握单词和句型，并提升其在真实语境中的语言运用能力。 课型 Listening   and speaking 教学目标 1.            知识与技能目标： 1)   学生掌握单词lemen,   biscuit, strawberry, market, supermarket, size, fresh, sale； 2)   学生掌握短语 how   much, how many, buy sth. for sb., try on, how/what about, too much/many； 2.            过程与方法目标： 学生能够在日常生活中用所学词汇、短语及句型询问物品的价格、数量、尺寸等； 3.           情感态度与价值观目标：通过给家人选购礼物培养学生对父母的感恩之心。 教学重点 新词/短语： market, supermarket, size, fresh, sale, how much, how many, buy   sth. for sb., try on, too much/many; 教学难点 学生能够掌握购物用语并在日常生活中使用； 教学方法 Bottom-up   approach; task-based approach 教学用具 多媒体、黑板等 教学过程 Step 1. Lead-in 1.   Greetings. 2.   Ask Ss what do they like to do on weekends; Ss talk freely. Choose two   students to answer the question. 3.   Tell Ss “I like to go shopping on the weekend. Today let’s learn something   about shopping.” Step 2.   Presentation 1.   Show pictures of things, such as lemen, biscuit, strawberry and clothes, on   PPT. Ss learn new words one by one. 2.   Ss read the words together. 3.   Activity 1: Ask   Ss to match the words with the pictures on PPT. (check whether Ss understand   the new words and whether they can read the new words). Step 3. Listen Activity 2: 1)   Tell   Ss that Mother’s Day is coming. Betty and Lingling are going to buy something   for their mothers. Listen to the tape and answer the questions: a)     What   is Lingling going to buy for her mother on Mother’s Day? b)     What   is Betty going to make for her mother? c)     What   does Betty want to buy? 2)   Play   the recorder again and Ss check their answers with the partner. 3)   Check   the answers with the whole class.
