Talk about some after­school activities with students. Show some pictures to help them to answer. 2. Show some pictures and ask question: What does he do after school? Let students to answer. Step 2　Presentation Show the structure“be going to do”. Teach students its meaning and usage. Show some pictures and ask students to practice the structure “be going to do”. For example: What are/is…going to do this weekend? paint They are going to paint this weekend. visit grandparents She is going to visit her grandparents this weekend. do some reading She is going to do some reading this weekend. do her homework She is going to do her homework this weekend.
